Episode 16

The problem with Reo has finally ended and its time for our heroes to enjoy the Alice Festival. The episode begins showing the Tokoryuki-kei's RPG game where in everybody seems so hyper about it. But then as the minutes pass they realize that nobody has decided to visit their attraction! What is the Tokoryuki-kei to do?

Fast forward to the later. The news about Tokoryuki-kei's great attraction has finally spread and Kokoroyomi-kun and Natsume decide to drop by as well. When they get there Mikan sees them and decides to say hi to Natsume who then asks her about her genie costume. Mikan then asks him if he likes it, but instead of answering he pulls her top. Mikan who is horrified by this runs to Tsubasa crying. Tsubasa seeing Natsume, decides to tease/irritate/make jealous (whichever floats your boat) the boy and hugs Mikan back, making Natsume(and Ruka) jealous. Tsubasa invites Natsume to take the challenge and he accepts.

Natsume has finally reached the final level and finds out that he has to get Mikan down from her 'flying carpet' without touching her or using his alice (since it would be useless against her nullifying one anyway). He decides to throw his weapon (a talking cockroach) at the girl. Mikan then explains that she is not afraid of cockroaches so he has to try something else. Natsume then pretends to feel sick causing Mikan to remember Nodachi talking about the fourth type of alice (life-eating one), fearing for Natsume's life she jumps down willingly to come to his aid.

Natsume's act works, wins the game and gets to choose any lamp he wants. He then asks Kokoroyomi-kun to read Tsubasa's mind to find out which lamp his is. But instead of getting Tsubasa as a slave/genie, he gets Mikan. Because, Kokoroyomi-kun explains, he saw Mikan's face in his mind earlier so he thought he wanted hers.

Episode 18

We see Natsume, Ruka and Mikan sitting out in a little outdoor cafe where one of their classmates Anna works. After a few minutes of waiting, out comes Anna with her new creation. As Natsume was about to take a bite, he notices a germ peeking out of his piece and doesn't eat it. He then notices Mikan who was stupid enough not to notice that the pie was infested with germs. Natsume then splashes Mikan's face with tea, successfully stopping her from devouring the germ infested pie.

After the cafe incident the three head over to the haunted house (where Yuu works). Mikan pretends that she's not scared and proposes that they go inside. But then when they do get inside, Mikan freaks out and clings onto Ruka's arm making Natsume jealous. Anyway, as they continue making their way deeper inside the house they encounter an old granny who after being denied her request proceeds to chase them. In the process of running away from the old lady Mikan and Natsume are seperated from Ruka.

Stopping to catch her breath, Mikan sees a scary sight that ultimately causes her to pass out, and to make matters worse, her passing out made a stone statue loose its balance. Seeing that Mikan might be crushed by the statue, Natsume had no choice but to protect Mikan's unconcious self, injuring his leg in the process. After a few minutes Mikan wakes up in a dark room (because of Jin-jin-sensei's outburst the electricity went out) with Natsume. She then freaks out, because she is scared that they will be locked up there forever. Natsume tells her to stop her whining and just wait for the rescue persons. But of course Mikan being Mikan still couldn't calm down.

After another few minutes Mikan realises that she has never seen Natsume laugh and tries to make him do so, in the process discovers that Natsume has injured his leg. She then starts to thank him, but then Natsume cuts her off saying he knew what she, a strawberry pattern using girl was trying to say. Mikan then gets annoyed and pounces on Natsume causing them both to fall over in a suggestive position. As if on cue, Ruka and Hotaru find them, surprised finding them in that particular kind of position. That afternoon, we see Mikan and Ruka walking together. Mikan tells Ruka that eventhough Natsume mostly says rude stuff and does rude stuff to her, it had been a very enjoyable experience with him.

Episode 19

The Taishitsu-kei class is putting up a play and Ruka-pyon is in it! Mikan and company decide to drop by and check what was going on backstage. Mikan is amazed to see that everybody is working very hard for the play. But then the actors fall prey to Kokoroyomi's sticky balls and couldn't act. Natsume comes in complaining about being stuck to a kid, Mr. Narumi asks him to play the part of the forest cat but he declines. Narumi-sensei says he had no choice but to trim the number of fairies to six, hearing this the little boy gets saddened. Natsume notices this and takes off only to come back wearing the cat costume. Mikan is surprised and tells Natsume that he looks cute, Natsume gets annoyed by this and gets back at Mikan by telling Narumi-sensei that she'll be playing the part of the prince.

Mikan is devastated but still the play begins. So then the play begins with the not-that-short appearance of Sumire as Sleeping Beauty followed by the next scene where Snowhite and the Prince meet. After the scene Mikan tells Ruka that she didn't do any good at all, but Ruka assures her that they will make the play really good. Mikan agrees and they laugh together, unaware that their conversation is being watched by a slightly jealous Natsume.

Fast forward to the end of the play, Mikan is surprised to know that she has to kiss Ruka, she blushes and thinks that she had to do it for the others. Meanwhile, backstage, we see neko-Natsume clench his fist. Back to Mikan and Ruka, as Mikan was about to kiss Ruka, an apple comes flying out of nowhere and hits Mikan on the head, effectively stopping the kiss. The lights go out. Back in the backstage we find out that it was Natsume who threw the apple and Hotaru who closed the lights.
